The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA-Kenya) is a think tank that undertakes economic policy research in Kenya. In monitoring policy and economic discourses, we have seen the demand for professionals to understand the performance of Kenya’s economy and its linkage to global trends. This has led to the realization that there is widespread demand to create knowledge for professionals in the business who aspire to understand how economic facts and their implications as reported and published by government sources and key institutions. This ability to understand and interpret key economic data has become essential for the teams and individuals working in private sector firms to inform their business model plans given the dynamism of the Kenyan economy.
To this end, we have developed a Master Class for middle-level managers and staff of firms to develop their ability to read, understand, interpret and compare data sources on Kenya’s economy.
