The Constitution of Kenya (CoK) 2010 establishes government as a devolved government and lays out the objects and principles of devolution. Among the governance values and principles provided in Article 10(2) of the Constitution are:sharing and devolution of power, democracy and participation of the people, inclusiveness and, transparency and accountability.
