The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) is a civic forum that seeks to engage the public in the policy making process. One instrument that enables us to understand our national policy is the national budget. For this reason, the IEA analyses the Kenya budget each year with the aim of highlighting policy concerns that emerge from the budget.
