Malaria is a blood disease commonly caused by the parasite Plasmodium Falciparum, transmitted into the human body through the Anopholes mosquito. This disease is known to digest the red blood cell hemoglobin, thereby altering the properties of the cells it inhabits. Malaria is predominant in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) and is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.
