Friday, 06 November 2020: The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA-Kenya) in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) held a media briefing to discuss the “Implementation of the national government budget FY 2019/20: Implication of gaps and deviations?” The findings and evidence generated from the analysis of budget oversight documents will be used to establish issues and gaps in spending as well as cases of financial misappropriation, for engagement with various groups of public accountability actors and to strengthen their advocacy for greater financial transparency and corrective action.
