Provision of quality and high-level education to citizens is one of the core mandates of any government around the world. In Kenya, this mandate is split between national and county governments. According to the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, the national level government is tasked with policy formulation for the education sector, in addition to taking charge of primary, secondary, and university educational centers.
