We aim to raise the quality of economic debate in the Kenyan public square in order to contribute to better economic policy decisions. Kenya’s young citizens are in a generational fight to orient the country in a policy trajectory that expands and maintains individual rights and freedoms. The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA-Kenya) Adam Smith Scholars is designed to elevate the debate on public policy in Kenya by selecting and training young, astute, and independent minds to understand and interpret economic events and what it implies for freedom and prosperity.
